Robert Young is a litigator whose practice spans several areas including commercial, real estate, employment, cybersecurity, professional liability and construction litigation matters. Within these practice areas, Robert regularly handles cases with respect to contract disputes, landlord-tenant matters, estate disputes, construction liens, professional negligence and disciplinary and licensing issues, employment and non-competition agreements, condemnation and land use issues, insurance disputes and alienation of affection and criminal conversation cases.
Additionally, Robert counsels clients on issues related to cybersecurity, cyber liability, and data privacy. He helps them identify and mitigate risks associated with data breaches, HIPAA, data collection and maintenance. He also advises clients on North Carolina and federal data privacy laws related to their business and industry. Robert was appointed to the North Carolina Bar Association’s Privacy and Data Security Committee in 2017.
In his time away from the office, Robert enjoys spending time with his family and two rescue dogs.
