Robert N. Young Printer-Friendly

Robert Young is a litigator whose practice spans commercial matters, landlord-tenant disputes, insurance defense and medical malpractice defense. He frequently joins his colleagues at Carruthers & Roth in representing physicians, physician groups and other medical professionals in negligence actions and risk management issues.

In addition to healthcare professionals, Robert’s clients include insurance companies, landlords, employers and employees. He also represents both individuals and companies sued for collections or breach of contract.

Robert counsels clients on issues related to cybersecurity, cyber liability, and data privacy. He helps them identify and mitigate risks associated with data collection and maintenance. He also advises clients on North Carolina and federal data privacy laws related to their business and industry.

Robert’s career at Carruthers & Roth began with a clerkship while he was still in law school. “I was very aware of the firm’s strong reputation, so it was naturally a place I wanted to be,” he says.
