Six Carruthers & Roth Attorneys Selected for Inclusion in 2013 “Legal Elite”; One Joins “Legal Elite” Hall of Fame

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Carruthers & Roth, P.A. is pleased to announce that six of the firm’s attorneys were recently selected by their peers for inclusion in Business North Carolina magazine’s “Legal Elite” for 2013. In addition, Carruthers & Roth attorney Kenneth M. Greene, a top vote-getter in North Carolina for Bankruptcy Law for 2012, has become a member of the “Legal Elite” Hall of Fame.

To compile the twelfth edition of Business North Carolina’s “Legal Elite,” the magazine distributed nomination ballots to more than 20,000 active members of the North Carolina State Bar. The honorees – which make up less than 3.5% of the state’s lawyers – were picked by their peers in 14 mostly business-related categories.

The attorneys selected and their respective practice areas are as follows:

J. Scott Dillon: Business
John M. Flynn: Environmental
Kenneth M. Greene: Bankruptcy Law (Top Vote-Getter and Hall of Fame)
J. Patrick Haywood: Construction
Kenneth R. Keller: Employment
Norman F. Klick, Jr.: Litigation
Keith A. Wood: Business and Tax/Estate Planning

About Business North Carolina’s “Legal Elite”:
Since 2002, Business North Carolina magazine has honored Tar Heel lawyers by publishing Business North Carolina’s “Legal Elite,” a listing of the state’s top lawyers in business-related categories. Winners are chosen not by BNC editors but by the state’s lawyers. Business North Carolina’s “Legal Elite” has become the model for other awards and lists, but it remains unique as the only award that gives every active lawyer in the state the opportunity to participate. Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite includes the top lawyers chosen using this statewide ballot.
