Carruthers & Roth, P.A. Names Two New Directors

Greensboro, NC – Carruthers & Roth, P.A, a full service civil law firm centrally located in Greensboro, North Carolina, is pleased to announce that attorneys Rachel Scott Decker and Elizabeth J. Zook have been named directors at the firm.

Rachel Scott Decker is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group and focuses primarily on complex commercial matters, especially those involving the construction industry. She provides counsel on contract and lien disputes, employment and civil rights matters, personal injury and wrongful death claims, and liability cases involving products, lenders, company officers, directors or shareholders. Rachel earned her B.A. from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Elizabeth J. Zook works with the firm’s Commercial Real Estate and Finance practice group and regularly represents banks, financial institutions and other creditors in foreclosure proceedings and advises on issues involving lender liability, borrower bankruptcy, improper loan documentation, personal property collateral, and debt and lien subordination. She structures, documents and closes property sales and acquisitions, loans and leasing transactions, both large and small. Elizabeth received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and her LL.M (Taxation) from New York University.
